I've always said that desert thunderstorms, however rare they may be, come with awesome power. This one came with flash flood rain. I drove out to this location to capture the lightning, but quickly got rained upon. I headed back but had to slow down to 35 on the interstate because the rain was so thick. ha!

(I apologize about the noise in the picture)

Mojave Desert (outside of Las Vegas and Mesquite, Nevada)

Have you tried any noise reduction DPP should clean that up nicely, really not a bad noise pattern
I have been dieing to get some good lightning shots this year, looks like i may have missed my chance.
