Beautiful! How recent was this taken Michael? I was thinking of heading up there next weekend for some camping and shooting. Hoping the smoke has subsided a good deal as recently here just north of SLC it was very bad smoke conditions.

Thanks! This was taken yesterday actually. The smoke was pretty ridiculous.... It's pretty risky shooting there right now I guess, but the wildlife was great.

Love the vibrant oranges of the aspens. Looks like things are peaking up there right now. Hope the smoke and haze weren't too bad on your visit.

Thanks man. The smoke and haze were horrible. That view of Mount Moran you see in the picture is the best it got for oxbow on the sunrises I was there. Later in the day it cleared up but I wish I could have had better sunrises :/

Definitely, you know your not all that far from phoenix, we could always meet somewhere in between up on the plateau. Should come down to the Sedona area around the end of Feb, trying to get a bunch of Photogs together for a winter shoot in the red rock area.
