Road of Dreams

The golden light of autumn (fall). Leaves rustle, trees bend slightly in the wind and whisper secrets to each other through a hazy golden air. The world crunches underfoot as you tread softly through a paradise of ochre calm.

And that's exactly what this picture says to me. I love the coordination between colours, the subtle brown/black of the road combined with pale yellow leaves. white tree trunks line the road and invite the eye to wander down it, gaze into the distance before flicking back to the present. I can hear the noises of the leaves and the wind when i look at this picture, feel the slightly-warm wind playing around my neck. This picture embodies the soul of autumn. I love it.

I have to agree with PhotographyByDanni, this picture would work very well in 3 frames, side by side, giving a window-like effect. Also, many times before i have seen a picture of a road through a forest, but none as good as this. No other criticism!

Overall, 4 and half stars. Beutiful picture that describes emotion and environment with magnificent colour and simple lines.
